Multi-Layered

The “Multi-Layered” sounds are made up of various musical and non-musical elements which are separated into component parts. You can use these sounds as they are or take parts of some and mix with others.

Playable Instruments and Pads

‘Playable Instruments and Pads’ are tuned sounds that can be played on a keyboard. Although this pack is not designed to be a musical instrument, these sounds can be played melodically.

Risers, Sweeps and Impacts

The ‘Risers, Sweeps and Impacts’ folder contain all the single sound FX in these categories. Finally, ‘Textures and Drones’ contain a variety of soundscapes, ambiences, in-harmonic noises, strange sounds and other sound effects.

Cinematic Textures and Drones audio wav pack is the universal format and works with all software compatible with .wav files including: FL Studio, Cubase, Pro Tools, Studio One, Logic Pro, Sonar, Reaper, and many other DAWS.

Cinematic Textures and Drones wav pack works with any software compatible with the standard WAV (.wav) format. Please Note: This wav pack does not contain any sampler patches but can be used in any sampler. Pack Size: 1.3 GB.

Combinator Patches

Cinematic Textures and Drones Reason ReFill features 225 combinator patches with some variations between them. All have multi-effects and modulations for easy control and near limitless sound sculpting possibilities!

Endless Possibilities

All combinators have all 4 Rotary and button controls assigned to various parameters including Attack and Release, Special FX, Filter Frequency, Echo & Reverb, Distortion Effect with tremolo, Chorus, Reverb and more.

Rotary 2 is assigned to change the preset of the “Audiomatic” effect. This control alone gives you thousands of different sound possibilities. Move this Rotary control to change the presets from Tape through to Eerie.

Reason ReFill Requirements

Cinematic Textures and Drones Reason ReFill requires the full version of Propellerheads Reason 8.2 or later (not included) and uses the Audiomatic plugin. ReFill Size: 800 MB

Cinematic Textures and Drones Kontakt Library is specially made for Native Instruments Kontakt.

Multi Patches and Groups

The Kontakt version of Cinematic Textures and Drones also contains ‘Multi’ patches which are made up of 2 or more individual patches to create new sounds, and ‘Grouped’ patches which have all sounds from each category mapped in a single Kontakt Instrument. This is useful for auditioning sounds quickly across the keyboard and also for layering sounds in the same category.

Modulation

All Kontakt patches have Mod Wheel assigned to Amp Release and Reverb to extend the release time of the sounds. After touch is assigned to a High Pass Filter and Distortion which adds real grunge to the sounds.
